The album includes documentation of the change in name from "Frederick Charles Heppenheimer" to "Frederick Charles Heppenheim vom Saal" in January 1896. Seems to be baptism certificate for Carolina Josephina Schaefer, born 23 Jan 1861, baptized 23 Jan 1862, name shown is Carolina Josephina, parents Maximilian (one L) and Ernestina Schaefer.

Possibly confirmation certificate for Friedrich Carl Wilhelm (crossed out) Heppenheimer, Hoboken NJ, 1868.

Abgangs Zeugniss for Friedrich Heppenheimer from Gymnasium at Darmstadt, signed May (?) 5, 1873. Seems to be evidence or certificate of passing medical exam (?) Says he was born 18 May 1854. Also shown in folder of medical records of FCvHvS.

Marriage certificate of "Dr. Friedrich Carl Heppenheimer" and "Miss Caroline Josephine Schafer" [a with umlaut], 12 April 1882, NYC, witnessed by Edward C Schafer, Wm. C. Heppenheimer, Emil Schafer, Chas Heppenheimer [all three Schafers spelled with a with umlaut]

MUST CONFIRM this but it looks like baptismal certificate for child of "Dr. Med. Friedrich Carl Heppenheimer" and "Lina Josephine [nee] Schafer", NYC, born 27 April 1889 and baptized 18 May 1889. Child's name = Rudolph Ernst [confirm this]. Witnesses Rudolph J. Schafer and Ernst Heppenheimer. Spelling is "ph" on both Rudolphs. Both Schafers spelled with a with umlaut.
